NEW ON THE MARKET
IVECO Daily SGW Bypass Adapter for permanent installation providing access to advanced diagnostic commands blocked by the SGW/SGM gateway, such as: • Clearing fault codes • Launching tests of actuators • Starting adaptation and coding (proxi)
ADVANTAGE OVER OTHER SGW ADAPTERS AVAILABLE ON THE MARKET:
• You only connect it once and then perform the diagnostics as if SGW/SGM was not there - just plug the interface into the OBD2 socket. • No need to disconnect and connect each time you need access to diagnostics, which saves time and reduces the risk of damage or wear of connectors after repeated reconnection of plugs. • After connecting MaxiEcu Iveco Bypass, the factory SGW gateway is still visible to other controllers, so no new error codes are generated, which is crucial for the advanced proxy function.
One installation and you can delete inspections, code, and delete faults - all available diagnostic functions provided in the software for a given vehicle. A great option for private users, but also for workshops that can expand their offer by connecting MaxiEcu Iveco Bypas to the cars of regular customers, which in the future will significantly shorten the time needed to perform the service.
WHAT IS SECURITY GATEWAY MODULE (SGM / SGW)?
The Security Gateway module (SGM / SGW) is a factory protection present in Iveco cars, which limits diagnostic queries only to reading e.g. information about the controller, reading fault codes, VIN number and OBD2 mode. To gain access to advanced diagnostics, you must have authorized, expensive tools and access to Iveco databases or install a special bypass such as MaxiEcu Iveco Bypass.
INSTALLATION
Installation is no different from installing regular Bypass adapters, with the difference that the installation only needs to be done once. Just locate the factory SGM/SGW module connector in a given model and connect the MaxiEcu Iveco Bypass end to the connector and the other end to the place where the connector was. The location of the factory connectors varies, but is most often located in the passenger side panel - near the glove compartment or behind the radio. The connector may also be located on the back of the fuse box. See the attachment in the "Documents" section.
